This week saw the return of gymnastic leotards to the studio for the clothing manufacturer Emotion Clothing, 20 new leotards of different patterns. They also came to me with a new clothing photo project and as a clothing photographer I always like new challenges. The new project is for fight wear so its more tracksuits, bags and training equipment which will fit well on my male mannequin. photos from this clothing photographer project will be online soon.

This second bit of big news is from a clothing retailer in Carlise that has contacted me to photograph their clothing items, from what I have been told they have grown so much that they dont have time to photograph their own items anymore so have contacted me. I will be collecting the first group of items soon so as soon as they are photographed and the client is happy I will get them online to show. This should be the start of a beautiful working friendship that will see me photographing many many items for them.

With all our product photography clients we make sure we understand their needs and what they want from the end photograph so that it fits in with their website and media. We also operate on a basis where if the client isnt happy with any particular image we will go back and photograph it again, with this in mind we always make sure we acheive perfection in our product photographs first time round.

Sometimes the simplest of ideas can work the best and a Harrogate business man had an idea he wanted to develope, after much sourcing and image branding A gift for a man required a product photographer, it was the job of this product photographer to photograph all the products for website use.

For this product photography contract I had to photograph each item individually and then in groups so that the products could be displayed on their website. As each box contained different items photographing them  all wasnt as simple as it seems, with different products come different photographic surfaces and different reflective properties and so the challange was to make sure that all items looked perfect and all the label’s clearly visable.

Once the products were photographed the next task was to make sure that the photographs were supplied to the correct file size to instantly fit onto their website, we will always make sure we work with our clients to supply exactly what is required.

The first event to photograph was Rockliffe Hall’s anniversary ball which this year was in aid of the Great North East [...]]]> This xmas I got the pleasure of photographing all of Rockliffe hall’s party nights. This was to be the second year running that I was asked to be Rockliffe hall’s official event photographer.

The first event to photograph was Rockliffe Hall’s anniversary ball which this year was in aid of the Great North East Air Ambulance.  This was to be hosted by Itv’s Pam Royal and invited guests of Rockliffe Hall. The event started off as most of Rockliffe’s events which when people arrived in their black tie attire and ball gowns they were greated with a welcome drink and I offered to take a professional event photograph of their party.  After their arrival they were the  invited in to the function suite where they would take there seat for dinner.

After the meal the guests git the chance to dance, drink and view all the photographs that had been taken during their arrival, this is where the guests got a chance to purchase their event photograph as a souvenir of the night, with onsite printing people were able to receive their photographs with in minutes of ordering.

I always enjoy being an event photographer as seeing different people every night makes each event different. The other events at Rockliffe hall where the Winter Wonderland party nignt which were tailored more towards company xmas parties, this would be where several companies would attend, there would be welcome drinks as well as a fully themed room dress up. At these events I operated in the same way where I photographed people on arrival and presented the images for people to order , with these events though I was usually asked at some point during the night to photograph a large company group which I was more than happy todo.
